7 Days Uganda Rwanda primate safari: This highlights Gorilla Trekking in Uganda, Rwanda, Wildlife Viewing and Chimpanzee Trekking in Uganda. For those that don’t want a short Rwanda gorilla safari, this package is ideal for you because it lasts for a week.
Day 1: Arrival & transfer to Volcanoes
You will be welcomed your driver / guide and transfer to Ruhengeri – the base town of Volcanoes national park.
Overnight: Hotel Muhabura.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking VNP & Transfer to Uganda
Wake up to an early breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for briefing and later proceed for gorilla trekking on the Bamboo slopes of Volcanoes national park. Gorilla trekking in Rwanda usually lasts a few hours (2 to 5) and from the trek, have lunch and drive to Uganda via Cyanika boarder proceeding to Kisoro town arriving late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Bwindi Jungle Lodge on the beautiful lake Mulehe.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking Bwindi
after enjoying an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a vital briefing and allocation of the gorilla family before you set off gorilla trekking. Enter the forest trekking through the steep, densely forested hills and then finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation is an inspiring and privileged moment. Tracking in the Bwindi forest requires stamina and can often take most of the day.

Day 4: Fly to Entebbe / Kampala
Enjoy breakfast and transfer to Kihihi airstrip for the morning flight to Entebbe 09:45am (arrive at11:25am)and your guide will be ready to pick you and explore Kampala city visiting Namugongo Martyrs shrine, Bahai temple, the crafts village and local markets. Return to Protea Hotel Entebbe and spend the evening at leisure admiring the mighty Lake Victoria

Day 5: Kibale national Park
Have breakfast and transfer Entebbe airport where an Aero link member of staff will assist you with the check in and transfer to your 07:45am (arrival 10:05am) domestic flight to Kasese where you will be welcomed by your expert guide and transfer to Kibale forest national park with lunch en-route in Fort portal town.
Overnight: Chimpanzee Forest Guest House.

Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP
Spend the morning tracking the exuberant chimp families in the Kibale forest. Tracking chimpanzees in their natural habitat, as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor, is a thrilling experience. Though they can be difficult to spot, you will be in no doubt of their presence as the forest is alive with their noisy calls.
In the afternoon, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park for an evening game drive in the Kasenyi sector or Mweya peninsular where you will spot a number of game including elephants, impalas, buffalos and lions.
Overnight: Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge.
Meal: Full board
Day 7: Explore Ishasha & Fly to Entebbe
Have breakfast and explore the less explore Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park beaming with herds of wildlife as you look out for a magical sight of the tree climbing lions lounging on the fig trees as they recover from the morning hunt. Later proceed to the airstrip and fly to Entebbe where you will embark on your flight back to home.
